10/31/10 This weeks beer menu

Hey Now! Greetings to all the Press 195 fanbase, hope you are enjoying this beautiful fall day. Two new great beers hit our taps this week and we are quite excited. First, the ever popular local favorite Chelsea Brewing Checker Cab Blonde and the all new, never been in Brooklyn ever before Crossroads Brewings innaugural beer, Outrage IPA. We are very excited to present this beer to the fans and the reaction has been great. An amazing floral taste balanced with a nice malt presence makes for a highly drinkable session beer!

DRAFTS

Chelsea Brewing Checker Cab Blonde Ale (NYC): LOCAL FAVORITE! This crisp straw-colored ale is brewed in the style of a German Kolsch beer. Aged cold, it’s taste resembles a lager. 5% Six Points Righteous Rye (Brooklyn): LOCAL FAVORITE! comes this super crisp, well balanced creamy offering that is well balanced with fresh hops and rye notes. One sip and you’ll have a new favorite! 7.4% abv
Blue Point Toasted Lager (Patchogue, NY): Copper in color this brew is made from 6 different malts. Toasted Lager displays a balanced flavor of malt and hop which makes it easy drinking. 5% abv
Founders Porter (Michigan): Beer Advocate scores this beer an A- while Ratebeer.com gives it a 100, not shabby! Take a sip and decide, we believe this is one of the best porters ever! Dark, rich, and sexy with chocolate malts and four varieties of hops make this a very full flavored ale. 6.5% abv

Weihenstephan Hefe-Weiss (Germany): From THE oldest commercial brewery, this is a wonderful example of what unfiltered wheat beer should be. Smooth and easy to drink. 12
