Nov 2009

Hola Amigos! Hard to believe it's November already but the whipping winds and cold rain tonight are sure to make you remember. Some great beers coming this way as winter time always provides some great Winter ales. We currently have one of the last kegs of Blue Point Octoberfest but are soon to be placing their excellent Winter offering on. Also new to the taps is Coney Island Lager, an easy drinker that is mellow, a tad sweet and low on carbonation. We already have been receiving good feedback from it. Here is the current list:

Keegan’s Mother’s Milk (Kingston, NY): From our good friend Tom Keegan comes this fantastic beer. As the name implies, this is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course milk, give this stout a remarkably smooth finish. 5.5% abv
Blue Point Oktoberfest (Patchogue, NY): Oktoberfest was originally brewed in 1810 to celebrate the betrothal of the Crown Prince of Bavaria, Blue Point continues the celebration by traditionally brewing this special malty amber lager every October.
